  • Wedding and reception

                                          

    Betsy and Andrew were married on May 13th, a Friday evening, at the Denver Aquarium.  I have already shown a similar picture, but it was a good place to start.  Mothers of the bride can't really take pictures during the wedding, or too many afterwards, but I took a few! 

    After the wedding ceremony, which was not traditional in location, but was very traditional in the saying of vows and the message given by the pastor, we had a dinner/reception in the restaurant at the aquarium.  We had a section of the room with our own buffet dinner.  Here are a few of the pictures during dinner -

    Luna was there, being taken care of during the wedding and this week while Betsy and Andrew have been away, by Andrew's brother and his wife -

                                            

    Bets and Andrew with Dave, our very dear friend and a former pastor at our church, who was very special to us during the years he was here, and flew to Denver to perform the ceremony -

  • Donna - I love how you have paced these pictures out.  You leave people wanting to "read" the next chapter.  I just throw it all out there, people look, say "ah," - and then it's all over!  You keep people in suspense - I love that!  Can't wait to see your pictures.  I'd also love to see Sam's pics -- do you think he would send us a link to view them?  I know my pictures inside the aquarium weren't very good, but I can't wait to see his professional ones!

  • @wstewart61 - Wendy,  I'll ask Sam to send you a link to his pictures - I don't think he has them on there yet.  I got the idea for pacing the pictures, and the story, out, from Doris' blog - she is the woman who wrote a comment right after yours.  It is time-consuming to write, and also to read, long blogs with lots and lots of pictures; much easier to enjoy it in smaller spurts.

  • Betsy is such a beautiful bride!  I reallylove the photo of their hands on the flowers - it is one of our favorites to use in weddings.  Her hands are so dainty, his so strong.  The babies are beautiful, too!

    How did Luna handle staying with others?  I'm sure she did great, though.
