Better day
It turned out to be a much better day! No headache, which was such a blessing! Got out of the house a good bit of the day - spent a few hours at a friend's house, stitching. I worked on the Christmas cross stitch stocking that I am determined to finish for Megan this year, before Christmas! My air conditioner got fixed, for which I am especially thankful as we are about to head into a very hot weekend. Thank you Sam and Mr. Jimmie! After the guys finished their work for the day - more banging, dirt flying, dust everywhere, and electricity being turned on and off - I got some housework done in other parts of the house, then went out for a Mexican dinner with my friend, Gina, followed by a fat-free frozen yogurt. Maybe tomorrow I can get a picture of what the kitchen is looking like these days. And I am reading this book about the history of quilting during the time of the Underground Railroad - very informative! Time to get a little knitting done now!

So thankful you didn't have a headache today and that you got out and visited with friends. Supper sounds yummy! I love the frozen yogurt.
sounds like fun!
Hello. I know,I know...it's been such a long time since I've visited your blog. I'm glad to see that you are doing well.
The book you mentioned sounds very interesting indeed.
My newest project is a rag rug. The first five times I tried it it turned into a bowl. I finally realized that there must have been a step missing from the tutorial, so now I am making progress on the rug and it's very exciting!
I have a new blog now...that's why I'm rarely on xanga. If you would like to see it you are welcome to. (Although I don't blog that often anymore.)
the address is:

Thanks,
