Praying
God is our Refuge and Strength. My heart is heavy with soooo many very critical things that I am currently praying about today. The little daughter of some friends has some very serious infections going on. Another friend is having chemo this afternoon for his ongoing cancer. The grandsons of two dear friends – one little boy with a tumor and the other with leukemia. Another friend raising his two young sons and having major health issues of his own, now at 6 months after his wife died of cancer. A young woman whose husband is now home after a serious car accident and whose family needs financial help. And I am spending a lot of time in prayer for those three young women and a little girl in Cleveland who have a long, long road of healing ahead of them. Many others, but those are the top concerns right now. And happier prayers for my own family – a new granddaughter soon to be born, jobs, moves, travels. I need to be in prayer more and more, unceasingly! I pray for God’s protection on my family and those I know and care about. I pray for God’s Word as it is carried to the ends of the earth by the missionaries I know. Just thought I would share what is on my heart and in my mind this morning. Praise God that He is sovereign. In Him alone is our salvation!

I also need to be more in prayer for my family and friends as well as those outside sphere. I will be sending blessings to you as you pray for your friends and those you know.
BUT I did see where you also have such a praise the the Kiddos are headed home from CO. I’ll be so anxious to hear more of what they are doing job wise etc.

Isn’t it good to know that when you share your prayer concerns you can be confident that your praying friends will join you? I will! It’s too heavy a load to bear alone.

Some days it feels that there are just too many problems in the world. I am so grateful that He is ENOUGH and that He is FAITHFUL.
This what I love about this group of Xanga friends……you pray and your friends pray with you……..

May the Peace of God, who gives us all comfort, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. It isn’t a terrible place to be — so out of answers that we need to cast ourselves on Him and His power, but it sure isn’t very comfortable. Hope the things that concern you will soon be resolved and that whatever happens, the Name that is above every name will be lifted up, and that God will receive the Glory. Thanks for sharing.
